Information for New Substitutes

Applications can be downloaded below or picked up at Central Office located at 195 Federal Street, Greenfield, MA 01301, Monday through Friday 8:00am-4:30pm. Please bring a valid drivers license, drivers permit, state identification card, greencard, passport or birth certificate in order to fill out a CORI. You will also need to be fingerprinted. You can download fingerprinting instructions below or stop into the office to pick them up.

REVISED SUBSTITUTE WAGE INFORMATION FY18

(based on MA Minimum wage changes effective Jan. 1, 2017)

Teacher Substitutes:

High School Graduate

$80.00 /full day

 

$95.00/extended day

 

$40.00 /half day

College - 4 year degree

$85.00/full day

 

$100.00/extended day

 

$45.00/half day

Paraprofessional Substitute

$11.00/hour@ 6.25 hours/full day = $68.75

 

$11.00/hour@ 7.5 hours/extended day = $82.50

 

 

 

 

ADDITIONAL RECRUITMENT FOR 2017-18

(Accepting applications all year; positions open monthly) 

Paraprofessionals (from preschool to high school (full-time and part-time) 
Tutors (reading/math/writing/science, all grades)
Substitutes (for teachers, teacher assistants, and custodians)

* Greenfield uses the term Paraprofessionals. They work both in general and special education assignments. Paraprofessional positions open up almost every month.

TO APPLY, send letter of interest, résumé, and completed application to the Superintendent. Positions stay open until filled. Applications stay on file for twelve months.
