Greenfield schools get nutrition grant

GREENFIELD — More farm fresh foods may be headed to the Four Corners School and the Greenfield Middle School.

The two schools were awarded a total of $5,345 by Fuel Up to Play 60, in partnership with the New England Dairy & Food Council and the dairy farmers of Massachusetts, to help them upgrade kitchen equipment to help with storage.

Central office will be closed Thursday the 23rd and Friday the 24th. We will return on Monday the 27th.

AGAWAM — As the officials sorted out what would be the most important call of the season just a few feet away, Audrey Bresciano waited.

Her mind was already made up. She was going to send the ball to the spot she liked most. But just standing and waiting; that was the hard part.

Here we go again.

For the third consecutive season, the WMass Division II field hockey championship will be decided between Greenfield High School and Frontier Regional School, who meet tonight at 6 at Agawam High School.
