GREENFIELD — Entering Newton School in November as a first-grader with little English experience, Mariya Stytsenko was already a voracious reader and a meticulous drawer.

When she settled into Mickey Warren’s class, making friends with her new classmates and learning the rhythms of the school day, Mariya started to shine.

Dear Title I Families,

As a parent/guardian of a child attending a Title I school you are an important part of our Title I Program. Your input is important in the planning and implementation of all Title I activities in our schools. Last school year we received completed surveys from 155 families. We are asking for your participation to help make this year’s response rate even higher.

Families of the Greenfield Public Schools,

I hope this message finds you well and excited for the start of a great summer vacation.

In Greenfield, we strive to meet the needs of every family and student. One way of doing this is offering a district-wide universal free breakfast program at all of our schools as well as free lunch offered at those schools participating in the Community Eligibility Provision. We are pleased to continue offering these successful programs without change during the upcoming school year.
