2016-2017 Title I Survey

Dear Title I Families,

As a parent/guardian of a child attending a Title I school you are an important part of our Title I Program. Your input is important in the planning and implementation of all Title I activities in our schools. Last school year we received completed surveys from 155 families. We are asking for your participation to help make this year’s response rate even higher.

I hope this message finds you well and excited for the start of a great summer vacation.

In Greenfield, we strive to meet the needs of every family and student. One way of doing this is offering a district-wide universal free breakfast program at all of our schools as well as free lunch offered at those schools participating in the Community Eligibility Provision. AEL 10th Anniversary Celebration!

The Academy of Early Learning is celebrating their 10th anniversary! 

The PTO has planned a family celebration event to take place on Saturday, May 20th (rain date is Sunday, May 21) from 10:00am-1:00pm. There will be games, face painting, music, and more!

AEL alumni and their family are welcome to join us for this celebration event!

Youth for Change

Youth for Change is a youth-led, substance free, 7-12th grade prevention team at the Greenfield High School. We lead by example to create a drug free school and community. We pride ourselves in being in a diverse, supportive and judgment free space for the youth living in the Greenfield Footprint. During the school vacation week the students plan to travel with family, play video games, take extra babysitting shifts to help families in need of childcare while they work and enjoy the weather by bike riding or spending time in parks or hikes. Film Festival submissions are due 3/31!

We are gearing up for the 7th Annual Greenfield Public Schools Film Festival! This is a reminder that all submissions for this year’s festival are due at the end of the month, March 31st.  Please submit all films, with their appropriate paperwork, to your school’s main office or by email to andlip1@gpsk12.org.  

The Film Festival takes place on May 5th, at 6pm in the Greenfield High School auditorium.  Admission is free to all, as is the popcorn.  Come and support all our filmmakers and help decide who wins...

21st Annual Taste of World Cultures is 3/16!

The Greenfield High School 21st Annual Taste of World Cultures is on March 16th, 5:00pm-7:30pm in the school cafeteria.  Everyone is asked to bring a dish from their favorite culture to share, with labeled serving utensil.  There will be a fashion show, music and dance performances. This event is free and open to the public. When arriving please use the rear entrance.
