The benchmarks listed above for grades four and five were established using aggregate data from Performance Improvement Mapping worksheet 2A. The benchmarks for grades 3, 6, 7, and 10 were established using the 2005 MCAS results. The use of MCAS data for these 4 grades yielded local benchmarks that exceeded the benchmarks as determined by worksheet 2A.

Subgroup data for the District Improvement Plan were derived from the analysis of state Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP) data, Data Analysis Strategic Planning Project(DASPP) data ( Dr. George Ladd), and local assessments.
